A teen and an adult male are dead after a shooting in downtown Tyler Monday night.

Our news partner KLTV reports that police responded to the 1300 block of West Dobbs Street just before 10 p.m. after calls came in reporting gunshots fired in the area.

Police arrived to find three victims with gunshot wounds. Two were transported to the hospital and the third, a teenager, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to KLTV, police identified the victims as Ladidre Patrice Blevins, 32, who was taken to a local hospital for treatment, her 17-year-old son, Daquan Munson, who died at the scene, and Charlie Verdell, 51, who was also taken to a hospital for treatment, but later died.

Witnesses reported seeing a suspect flee the scene with a gun, according to Don Martin, Tyler Public Information Officer. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and is still under investigation.
