3 Reasons Going Abroad is Awesome

Home sweet home can get a little boring sometimes, so why not take an adventure once in a while?

Whether you can go abroad on vacation, for work, as a study abroad or just for an adventure, I would highly recommend it.

I was recently fortunate enough to go to Europe for two weeks as part of a study abroad program and was absolutely blown away by everything I saw and did while I was there. Check out my three favorite things about going abroad here:

Understanding of Culture

There's really no way to fully understand other cultures unless you become submerged in them. The food, the people, the fashion, the thought process and everything else. It's a lot to learn, but it's absolutely amazing to compare what life is like in other places to here at home.

Adventure of a Lifetime

There's something in the thought of traveling around the world and seeing new things. There are all kinds of adventures to be had, especially in new places!

New Appreciation of Home

As fun as traveling is, it's always nice to come home and sleep in your own bed. Plus, we all know the Mexican food just isn't that good anywhere other than Texas.
