So far this season we've had a pretty mild and dry fall, but that was until this past weekend! A much bigger change is on the way for our East Texas weather! After three days of rain, it appears as if we're in for another day of rain and drizzle throughout our Tuesday with a little bit warmer temperatures, but it will be short lived according to KLTV 7's Chief Meteorologist Mark Scirto. An arctic front is expected to blast through East Texas sometime Wednesday and bring with it some significantly colder dryer air for Thursday and Friday. Once the front arrives you'll know it, because it's going to be rather windy behind it! The wind chills during the day on Thursday are expected to be in the 20's to low 30's. Then Thursday night into Friday morning we can expect a hard freeze area wide with an overnight low of 24 Friday morning.

With this cold snap, Mark Scirto reminds us to take care of the four P's!
