Actor Paul Walker Dies After Fiery Car Crash

Paul Walker, a star Hollywood actor best known for his roles in 'The Fast and the Furious' movies, has died at age 40, TMZ is reporting.

TMZ reports Walker died in a single-car accident after the Porsche he was in lost control and crashed into a post or tree, causing an explosion. The other person in the car, still unknown, has reportedly died as well, although it is still not known who was driving.

The accident happened in Santa Clarita, Calif., just north of Los Angeles. TMZ reports Walker was in the area to show support for the Philippines typhoon relief effort.

News spread across the Internet quickly Saturday but also that the death story was a hoax by MediaMass.com, but as other reports have shown, the reports are actually true and MediaMass is a satirical website.

The accident also has been reported by the Santa Clarita newspaper and other websites.

A sick move by the website, which is running a hoax story about a story being a hoax.
