Four weeks ago, it was announced that vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert would be joining the singing and dancing dramedy 'Glee,' but it was unclear in what capacity he would be entering the show's fifth season.

Thankfully, one of the show's stars, Chris Colfer, has a new book out (the second in his 'Land of Stories' fractured fairy tale novels), and while discussing that book, he revealed just what part Lambert would have to play on the new 'Glee' season.

"Adam Lambert is joining the show, and he’s going to play my nemesis," Colfer revealed in an interview on 'LIVE with Kelly and Michael' which was strangely lacking in Kelly Ripa (see video above).

"I always wanted to see Kurt be mean. I know no one else does, but it'll be fun for me," he added, hinting that Kurt won't take this new rivalry lying down.

Essentially Lambert will be brought in as a villain to Colfer's character, which is definitely a change of pace for a guy who lulls babies to sleep and raises money for charity.

And just like that, Season 5 definitely became worth a watch.
