Adam Lambert Talks Pride, Integrity, and Glamberts [AUDIO]

As part of Pittsburgh Pride Week, Adam Lambert will be the headliner for the city's "Pride in the Street Festival" on Saturday, June 15. And in a new interview with a local radio station, he proved yet again that he's a humble, all-around nice guy who just strives to use his celebrity standing for good.

When asked if his activism in the LGBT community and as an openly gay man is detrimental to his career, particularly in other countries, Lambert replied, "In 15 years, 20 years from now ... I don't want to look back with any regret ... Ultimately that integrity is a thing that is I think is more important than the immediate sales or you know, measurable success."

He then jokingly added about the occasional controversy, "It's kind of a little bit fun to rile people up."

The interview also addressed how Lambert's devout fans -- Glamberts, you who you are -- are equally active in the community, and how he feels about their activism and support of his various charities, including AT&T's Live Proud campaign.

"It's this really cool family ... People want to feel like they belong to something, people want to be part of a movement, or a like-minded discussion or whatever, and I know that my fans are able to do that with each other," he said. "And to be able to facilitate that ... it's awesome."

"Twenty years from now I'll be able to look back and be really proud and feel like I made a difference."
