Comedian Adam Sandler doesn’t usually make sequels to his movies — for good reason — but he might be going ahead with one for his 2010 hit comedy ‘Grown Ups.’

Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions and Sony Pictures are talking about making the sequel and bringing back Sandler’s co-stars Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider. Nothing is official, but sources say that Sony is talking with the writer of the first film, Fred Wolf, about writing the next movie.

Wolf is also the writer behind ‘Joe Dirt,’ ‘Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,’ ‘Dirty Work,’ ‘Black Sheep’ and ‘Without a Paddle.’ He also wrote for ‘Saturday Night Live’ and the talk shows ‘The Chevy Chase Show’ and ‘The Pat Sajak Show.’

So what would possess Happy Madison Productions to even think about making a sequel to this movie? Perhaps because ‘Grown Ups’ grossed, shockingly, $271 million and is the highest-grossing film of Sandler’s career. Relive the arguably funny trailer below.
