Adele’s Show Comes To An End Early

Adele has been forced to cancel the 9 remaining dates on her current U.S. tour because of a bad case of laryngitis.  Her doctor said that she needed complete vocal rest and must take the next few weeks off.  She came down with the illness back on May 26th and cancelled a show in Minneapolis, MN and then came back on stage a few days later in Denver but her condition worsened and had to cancel another show and after seeking more medical advice they suggested her to take a few weeks off.

Adele released a statement that reads in part...

I’m really frustrated. I was hoping with a week’s rest I’d be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor’s advice and rest some more. I’m so sorry. See you soon, Love, Adele.”

One of the cancelled shows includes her June 15th scheduled appearance at the House Of Blues in Dallas.  If you were one of the fortunate people to have a ticket to this sold out show, you can hold on to that ticket for a rescheduled date or return it for a refund.
