There’s something special in the air this week at All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler. It's on the faces of students, parents, staff, and alumni. It's written on the school’s official seal. It’s imprinted on the community’s heart: honor, truth, and wisdom.

This week, more than any other, the All Saints community celebrates those words in honor of Homecoming 2016. The week consists of numerous events that offer an opportunity for all ages to show off their Trojan pride. And of course, all of the fun is leading up to the big game on Friday evening at 7:30 when the All Saints Trojans hope to “pluck the Eagles” of Prince of Peace and win the homecoming football game!

On Friday, October 28th, students, staff, and guests are invited to an inaugural Homecoming parade with Mayor Martin Heines serving as Grand Marshal.  The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. beginning at the Mewbourne Field bridge. Later, at 5 p.m., hungry fans will be treated to a fajita cook out, courtesy of the All Saints Booster Club. Participants should be careful to save room, though, because Trunk or Treat kicks off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Lower School costume parade led by the Trojan Drumline.

The music doesn’t stop there. Up and coming Red Dirt artist, Zach Stone will keep the excitement rolling with a performance at 5:30 p.m.

Finally, the All Saints Trojans hit Mewbourne field at 7:30 p.m. The 2016 Homecoming court will be presented at halftime.
