Ugh, it's that time of year. Your guy will be spending his free time glued to that stupid tv for hours. Not only do we have to compete for their attention with football season but on top of that, Call of Duty and Skyrim. Enough is enough ladies, stop being bored next to them on the couch. Stretch Those Legs
The weather in east Texas has been feeling quite amazing so take advantage of it. While your guy is focused on the game, you can focus on your health. We have many beautiful parks in the area and with the leaves changing colors it would be so much fun to take the camera out and practice your photography skills. Plus, if you take the pooch they will be so happy to run and play in the fallen leaves.

Doesn't matter if you are holding a book or an e-reader you are improving your vocabulary, concentration and focus. There are tons of studies out there stating how amazing reading is for you. I bet you have a few books sitting around the house that you have been meaning to pick up. Now is your chance to make a cup of tea and snuggle down with a good book.

Call Your Mother
Life gets busy way too often theses days. Sure, you may chat with her on Facebook but that isn't the same as hearing her voice. I know when my mom and I get to talking we lose track of time. Nothing says “I love you ” more than taking time to catch up.

I will have to admit, my guy only watches a chick flick with me to make me happy. There are so many would love to watch but I would rather spend time with him. Now is your chance to catch up on all those sappy love stories. Head to the other room, bundle yourself up in some blankets with a glass of wine and enjoy it guilt free.
