An Amber Alert has been issued for a 10 year old girl from Bullard and officials believe she is in immediate danger. Kayla Gomez is being sought for by Bullard Police, Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and Texas Highway Patrol. Kayla went missing from a Bullard church Tuesday night around 8 p.m. She was last seen at the Bullard First Assembly on Highway 69 wearing a black Racquet & Jog t-shirt and peach skirt, according to Bullard Police.

Police have posted Amber Alerts on digital message boards around the state and are currently looking for a red Cadillac SRX SUV with dark tinted windows.

Circumstances surrounding her disappearance are unclear. If you spot a vehicle matching the description that appears out of place or you see the 4 foot 90 pound 10 year old call 911 to report it or call the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 903.683.2271

 

According to KLTV 7, the Tyler Independent School District confirmed that Kayla Gomez is a student at Jack Elementary School.  The school district is deploying additional counselors to the school to assist with students and staff that may need help dealing with the situation.  KLTV also reports that an FBI task force will be on campus to investigate the situation.
