The American Idol finalists are getting ready to kick off their tour July 6th and they will be joined by reigning American Idol champion Phillip Phillips, who's not feeling 100% yet, but Phillip says he's good enough to perform.

Phillips underwent surgery a couple of weeks ago to remove some kidney stones that really bothered him throughout the competition.  He told a group of reporters Wednesday that he's not feeling like himself 100% but is close.

I'm good.  Not 100 [percent] but I'm good. I'm getting there, probably soon.  I'm doing a lot better than expected so it's a good thing."

The other 9 American Idol finalists revealed they would be covering One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" during the tour and performed a bit of it during the press conference.

As far as Phillip Phillips debut album goes, well, he's just now starting working on it and he hopes it'll be available in stores and online this November or December.

The American Idols tour will be rolling into the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Sunday, July 29th.
