American Idol Finds Talent In Houston [VIDEO]

Last night's American Idol featured auditions from Houston which highlighted quite a bit of talent from the Lone Star State!  Fifty-four people received the golden ticket to Hollywood including Kristine Osorio from Amarillo and Ramiro Garcia of Houston.

This was Kristine's first and final attempt to qualify to become the next American Idol.  She is a mother of 3 going through a divorce and instead of paying her divorce attorney she bought a plane ticket to Houston to audition for Randy, Jennifer and Steven.  Check out her performance and the judges reaction below.

Another moving audition during the show was from Ramiro Garcia of Houston.  He was born without ears and was originally thought to be mute.  At the age of 4 he underwent several surgeries and eventually gained his hearing.  Check out his performance of "Amazing Grace" below.
