Amy Winehouse’s Ex-Husband Lies in a Coma

The British newspaper, The Guardian, is reporting that Amy Winehouse's ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is in a medically induced coma after he was taken to the hospital with multiple organ failures.

Amy's dad, Mitch Winehouse, is pleading with her fans to pray for his recovery because he is in a fight for his life right now after an apparent drug and drinking binge late last week.  He wrote on his Twitter account:

Mitch has stated in the past that he doesn't blame Fielder-Civil for his daughter's death but does believe that Blake introduced her to drugs, which she took a liking to and eventually referred to him as "the biggest low-life that God ever put breath into."  (Billboard.com)

After being admitted to the hospital, doctors placed Blake in a medically induced coma and is on life support. Fielder-Civil has been battling a heroin addiction for quite a while now.

Blake was married to Amy Winehouse from 2007 to 2009 and she died in 2011 from alcohol poisoning.
