Anne Hathaway’s Glee dreams have come true! Show creator Ryan Murphy confirmed to Access Hollywood that the actress will guest star in an upcoming episode, the product of a deal made at Sunday night’s Golden Globes ceremony:

“She walked by our table and we have a mutual friend and I said, ‘Do you really want to do it?’ And she said, ‘I do.’ And I said, ‘OK, we’re gonna do it.’”

Murphy heard about Hathaway’s interest from a 2010 appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, in which the 2011 Academy Awards co-host even cooked up her own story arc: she’ll be playing a long-lost lesbian aunt of gay teen Kurt Hummel (played by Chris Colfer, who took home a Golden Globe for the role on Sunday).
