The weather can make it tough to get a golden tan all year ’round. So when you need that sun-kissed look at the wrong time of year, you have to take matters into your own hands. It is not at all uncommon to turn to tanning beds, self-applied tans or spray tans, but these don’t always go the way they’re supposed to. And, because we keep seeing celebrities do it at major events, we thought we’d find some of the best tanning fails the internet has to offer.
Friday, March 2nd is a date that we must celebrate. On March’s second day, we must say “Hooray!” With a “Yip yip yippee yay,” for Dr. Seuss’ own birthday. In celebration of Dr. Seuss Day, on the day of Theodor Seuss Geisel’s birth, (March 2nd, 1904, to be exact), we have dug up 15 facts about the self-proclaimed doctor that you might not know.
If you’re in the market for a new place and wouldn’t mind relocating to the Midwest, we have found a sweet deal for you. Baird & Warner Realty in the Chicago metro appears to be selling Michael Jordan’s house. The listing doesn’t say it’s Jordan’s house, but it has a basketball court and the entrance gate says 23. On Sunday, Hollywood will once again congratulate itself on a year of jobs well done. What’s unbelievably ridiculous about the Academy Awards is that in a sea of incredibly talented performances, the award can go to only one person. It just seems wrong.
For those of us who don’t spend our lives and retirement funds making movies, the actual awards part of the Academy Awards isn’t the most interesting. The people we like hardly ever win and we don’t care how much anybody’s publicist helped them get where they are today. What we really tune in to see are the fashion statements. More specifically the fashions that state, “Clearly, I’m nuts. Aren’t you glad you invited me to your little party?”
For some mysterious reason, February 23rd is known as International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day. It seems likely that dogs managed to get a hold of a calendar somewhere and decided to mark this day, so to speak, in order to get more treats. Clever pups.
