In south Tyler, family and friends gathered next to the home where Kayla Gomez-Orozco lives yesterday to hold a prayer vigil for the safe return of the 10 year old. Kayla was last seen in Bullard Tuesday night at Bullard First Assembly church on Hwy. 69. As of this morning authorities continue to follow up on the leads they have in regards to the little girls' disappearance and they still feel she's in immediate danger.

An impromptu prayer vigil was coordinated by a neighbor late yesterday afternoon, Marissa Boerger, who told KYTX CBS 19, "We really wanted to do what we could for our community and I thought, well we can pray, that's what we can do." Boerger has children that are Kayla's classmates at Jack Elementary in Tyler. During the prayer vigil, Kayla's parents came out to join the hundreds that were praying for their daughters' safe return.

Among the many agencies that continue to search and investigate Kayla's dissappearance are Bullard Police, Tyler Police, Smith County and Cherokee County Sheriff's offices, Texas Rangers, DPS along with the FBI who have set up a special tip line for anyone that may have any information in regards to this case - 972.559.5711. At this time authorities are not requesting volunteers for search parties because they are still investigating the case and following up on the leads that they do have.

A Facebook page has been set up to spread the word about her disappearance.
