Azalea Trail Junior Golf Classic Returns to Hollytree Country Club

This weekend the Azalea Trail Junior Golf Classic returns to Hollytree Country Club in Tyler. Featuring 144 junior golfers, the tournament starts on Saturday and will continue Sunday.

The competitors are comprised of ten divisions, five girls and five boys, ages ranging from 7-18, with the top three finishers awarded trophies. Pairings for round one will begin on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. will be available on the NTPGA Junior Tour website with a full list of participants.

The top finisher in the Boys 15-18 division will be awarded an exemption into the 2014 HP Byron Nelson Junior Championship and the 2014 Texas State Junior Championship. The low score will be totaled from both days of competition.

The tournament is presented by SporTyler and conducted by the Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour. It is one of 18 playing opportunities for the Bridgestone Golf All American Tour.
