Back To School: Ashton’s Words Of Wisdom [VIDEO]

At the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, Ashton Kutcher took home the Ultimate Choice Award. He teased that it was the "Old Guy" award and graciously thanked his fans, but then he went on to share some words of wisdom.

With kids heading back to school in the next couple weeks, walking through halls filled with peer pressure to try to be something other than they are, to appear older or sexy. I feel his words are never more relevant.

I stumbled upon the video of Ashton's acceptance speech thanks to a friend on facebook, who also happens to teach high school. She felt compelled to share it, because she was impressed with the message. I share her compulsion. The three points Ashton makes during his speech are listed below and there is a link to the video as well.

1. "Opportunity looks a lot like hard work."

2. "Being Sexy. The sexiest thing in the entire world is being really smart, and being thoughtful and being generous. Everything else is crap."
