A 16-year-old double amputee from Orlando, Florida is claiming discrimination after he was cut from his high school's spring baseball team.

Anthony Burruto had both of his legs amputated below the knee shortly after he was born, but that hasn't stopped him from playing baseball with prosthetic legs since the age of eight -- more after the jump.

Burruto's 80-mile-an-hour fastball was doing well enough to carry him through three seasons on his high school team's fall ball squad, but he was recently cut from the spring team after his coach said he'd have trouble fielding bunts. The school claims that he was tread like any other player, but Burruto's mother is fuming mad. As for Anthony, he says he's not going to try out for the high school team with the same coach again, but he's going to try to play an all-star summer league.
