Over the years, Batman has had some highly iconic themes. From the opening song of the classic 1960s ABC series to Danny Elfman’s instantly recognizable theme from the Tim Burton films, the many Batman adaptations have always included memorable music. With Batman vs. Superman fast approaching, we’re about to get a new addition from composer Junkie XL, who partnered with composer Hans Zimmer for the film’s score. Today, you can listen to the new Batman theme from Batman vs. Superman and see how it stacks up against some of the old classics.

For Batman vs. Superman, director Zack Snyder hired Zimmer and Junkie XL (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool) to work together on the music. Zimmer would reprise his Superman music from Man of Steel, while Junkie XL would compose a new theme for Batman. Warner Bros. has released the first track from the soundtrack, embedded above, titled “Men Are Still Good (The Batman Suite)”. If that’s not enough for you, here’s another sample, a track titled “Their War Is Here”.

The Batman vs. Superman soundtrack will be available digitally, on CD, 2-disc deluxe CD, and on Limited Edition 3-disc deluxe vinyl on March 18. Here is the full track listing:
