“Beavis and Butthead Return to Television”

According to Justin Bieber and the cast of Skins, Beavis and Butthead, the subversive and often-imitated MTV cartoon, will return after 14 years off the air. New episodes will begin airing this summer (you can watch entire episodes from the show's first run on the show's MTV page). -- more after the jump

We can only speculate as to what the pair of teenage morons have been up to in the years since the show ended in 1997 — safe to say it involved copious nachos and lots of bad metal videos. Which brings us to the question: After years of Family Guy and South Park, can Beavis and Butthead maintain the edginess that revolutionized the world of late-nite toons?
