James Maslow of Big Time Rush lets fans in on his secret passion in a new behind-the-scenes video. The pop stars have been responding to fan questions in a series of #askBTR videos on YouTube, the latest of which premieres today exclusively on PopCrush, along with some new pics from the road.

In the vid, Maslow discusses his love for his 1972 Ford Bronco, which is back home in a friend’s garage while Maslow brings his music to the world on tour. The car is in bad shape and needs a complete overhaul, so he’s making a list of all the parts it needs to get back into working order.

“I’ve always dreamed about rebuilding many different cars,” Maslow says. “A Bronco is one of them, so I’m gonna start with this, and the next may be a ’69 Cobra… If you have any suggestions for what color I should paint it, tweet me!” He promises that before long, he’ll be cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway in his restored ride.

The photos Maslow shared with PopCrush show the boys performing on stage during their current concert tour with Cody Simpson, which rolls on through late September. One pic captures the guys in trendy vests and sunglasses as they sing into wireless microphones, while the other is an image of the boys’ silhouettes as they stand in front of a video screen.

Earlier this summer, the Kids’ Choice Award winners for Favorite Music Group released a music video for ‘Windows Down,’ a track from their ‘Elevate’ album that borrows the “woo-hoo!” from Blur’s ‘Song 2.’ The song is available now on iTunes.
