Argentine Jorge Bergoglio has chosen the name Pope Francis.

Earlier White smoke poured out from the Sistine Chapel chimney in St. Peter's Square, signaling that a new pope had been chosen.

According to the Associated Press, White Smoke was seen billowing from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, meaning 115 cardinals in a papal conclave have elected a new leader for the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics.
