Britney Spears Will Spend the Next Two Years in Las Vegas

Britney Spears tried to keep it a secret, but just like her song 'Work B**ch' the details just couldn't be kept under wraps until the big reveal day which was today on ABC's Good Morning America.

As rumors had it, Britney revealed details about her upcoming two year Las Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood on the morning news program. Britney's new show is scheduled to begin December 27th and will be called Britney, Pieces of Me and is being described as an action packed show that is a mix of clubbing and theater.

Before the announcement was made in the Las Vegas desert this morning, Good Morning America's Sam Champion was there with over 1,000 Britney fans to welcome her and many fans were dressed up as Britney, showing off her many looks throughout her career.

Britney told Sam, "I love Vegas. The energy here is really, really good. We wanted the environment to be that way so people could come and have a good time and stand up and feel like they’re in the show with me."

Britney has been rehearsing for the show around five hours each day. Tickets to Britney, Pieces Of Me go on sale Friday at 12n and are a reasonable $59 each.

Before leaving the desert Britney also said she'd be releasing her eighth album on December 3rd.
