Bruno Mars appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom this past Friday in connection with his cocaine possession case.  The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that he waived a preliminary hearing for his felony count of drug possession.

According to the paper,

Bruno Mars will be placed on a year of informal probation. He must pay a $2,000 fine, perform 200 hours of community service, attend drug counseling and stay out of trouble.

If he completes all of these requirements and stays out of trouble, his case will be dismissed.  However, if he trips up he could face time in prison.
