Muggles Unite! Head to the Longview Library on Nov. 9 and 10 for your chance to participate in the Harry Potter Escape Room. This is so exciting, and a great opportunity to get mileage out of your Harry Potter Halloween costume again!

The announcement was posted Monday on the library’s Facebook page.
The escape room will be open Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and several time slots are available on each day, each lasting 30 minutes.

Not a crazy Harry Potter fanatic like I am? Don’t worry, it is not necessary to be a die-hard fan in order to participate. However, 'potterheads' may be quick to reserve their spots, so you'll want to get on that quickly.

“When in doubt, go to the library.” – Hermione Granger

The event is geared to adults and teens, but children 12 and under can participate as well, so long as they have a parent or caretaker with them. However, it is not recommended for children under 8 years old.

The books may not float back to their place in the shelves, nor turn their own pages, but books in our muggle world are magical just the same with the use of your own imagination.

Embrace the magic and whimsy, and sign up now, because the slots will go fast! For more information call 903-237-1350.
