Carly Rae Jepsen is continuing her climb up the charts. The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer and Justin Bieber protege took the stage at the Universal CityWalk last week to make her stateside stage debut.

The cute Canuck sported a green tee, black jeans and suspenders as she bopped and bounced her way across the stage performing her breakout hit. The crowd went crazy and sang along to the infectious tune that’s captured the hearts of Bieber, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry and even James Franco.

While it was Jepsen’s concert debut, she handled everything like a seasoned pro, from crowd interaction to dodging a collision with her guitarist. Despite her jumping and giggling, her voice remained strong from start to finish — no small feat, as most performers who incorporate dancing in their shows use a backing track. We’re impressed!

Jepsen is currently working on her debut album for Biebs’ label, so we’re sure to hear more live clips from her soon once the record’s done.
