Nicki Minaj's nemesis even redid the song with Justin Bieber, proving its got legs longer than Mimi's! She performed the song, in a sexy little Santa outfit, in Rockefeller Center in New York City last night (Nov. 27.) The performance was taped for a special that airs tonight. Can't wait? November 28, 2012 Finally cooler temperatures have arrived in East Texas making it feel more like fall and the holidays, we just hope they stick around for a while. Those temps arrived just in time for the lighting of the City of Tyler's Christmas tree tomorrow night.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell ringers have been ringing the bells outside of retail locations during the holiday season every year since the first bells rang out in San Francisco in 1881. It takes quite a few volunteers to ring those bells to help bring in monetary donations to support the Salvation Army each year.

Those of us that did put up the Christmas tree before carving the turkey have been accused of breaking holiday rules, but rather than rebellious it seemed convenient to me. We got the decorating out of the way early, and could concentrate on matters like shopping!
