April 16, 2012 Over the weekend Tim Tebow held the Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic in Florida. While the golf tournament was the main event, the thing that got everyone talking happened the night before. In an auction to help raise money for Tebow's foundation, a Florida couple bid $100,000 to spend the day with Tim Tebow. Woah.

Peter Facinelli made this year’s Women’s Night Out one of the best ever Saturday night (March 31) at Harvey Convention Center in Tyler. The star of “Twilight,” “Nurse Jackie,” “Can’t Hardly Wait” and more was a hit all night as thousands of women converged on Tyler for a visit. He first made an appearance at the premiere VIP party, and we’ve plenty of pictures!

March 5, 2012 This year looks like it will be a good year to check out Tyler's Azalea Trail early! Many azalea bushes are already in bloom in advance of the official start of the Tyler Azalea and Spring Flower Trail, which officially kicks off March 23. I even have a few azalea bushes blooming in my back yard, and we're not even on the trail!
March 1, 2012 The 2012 MDA of East Texas Muscle Walk will be held Saturday morning at Broadway Square Mall, and one of the teams will be representing Madison Radla. Madison suffers from muscular dystrophy and has a special connection to Mix 93-1, because she was part of the Kidd's Kids trip in 2010 to Walt Disney World.
