This morning Lucky Larry and I packed up the Mix van and took off for Dallas at 6:00 a.m. Our plan was to drive to Las Colinas, and visit the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning Show before heading over to Love Field to see the Kidd's Kids Send Off.
Saturday night I had the privilege of emceeing the inaugural Night of Superstars in Tyler with Lucky Larry. Fifteen incredible kids were recognized for their achievements, and celebrated for their ability to overcome adversities.
It's sticky, sweet and goes great on pancakes and waffles and this Saturday Henderson will be celebrating with the annual Syrup Festival. This year marks the 25th year for the festival that includes more than just syrup!
Y'all, I just have to take a moment to brag on my dad. His fun-loving personality definitely earned him the #1 Dad Award this weekend at our church's fall festival - and left me with some pretty awesome pictures of a great weekend with Dear Old Dad.
Can you imagine having 19 kids?! Well the Duggars can and do! The Duggars will be speaking at Green Acres Baptist Church on Oct. 27. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, co-authors of two best-selling books and parents of 19 children, are coming to Tyler to help promote National Orphan Sunday.
