November 21, 2012 Here at the radio station yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving with the entire staff, everything was prepared by someone from the station and was great - from the turkey and dressing to the mashed potatoes, greens, corn and rolls - it was all great. However, what I think stole the show was the selection of desserts that were offered to us!

We stuffed our faces full of candy at Halloween, and now it's on to the big Thanksgiving meal. November 14, 2012 Throughout the entire month of October Smith County residents and East Texans dropped off new and gently used coats at participating dry cleaners throughout Smith County to be cleaned and donated to PATH's Coats For Kids program where kids without a winter coat can receive one for free.
November 13, 2012 Throughout the election season, and especially last week, most of us saw Facebook posts from our friends that were less than friendly. In some cases they were full-on political rants where the friend ran out of room and you had to click "read more" to get to the overall point. It was exhausting at times, right? No matter where you fall in the political spectrum, sometimes you visit Facebook to see cute pictures of kids and cats, and not necessarily to be hit smack in the face with political statements.
