September 13, 2012 In what has become tradition, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back Movies In The Park at Bergfeld Park for the fall. The parks department screens movies for free at Bergfeld Park's ampitheater and all you need to do is bring a blanket to sit on and some movie snacks!

I have. On a road trip to the north, my family stayed at a hotel in Wichita, Kansas, and when we got home we could only find one Dora The Explorer sock. In the process of jumping on the bed and running around the room, our 3-year old at the time must have shed a sock and a cleaning person whose daughter also may have had just one sock, hit the jackpot.

My family and I have been watching this show all summer (even waited for it to return from the Olympics break) and it's been filled with a lot of great talent too. A family from California is saying they were not allowed to board their flight because their son has Down Syndrome. They are now claiming they were discriminated against by the airline because of their son’s disability.

August 31, 2012 This weekend is the last weekend you'll be able to ride The Texas Chute Out and Flashback at Six Flags Over Texas. The park will stop operating these thrill rides Monday evening and the space will be occupied by a new thrill ride called the Texas SkyScreamer which will open in 2013!
