Celebrity Couple Marries after 28 Years

Ladies, hang in there with your man.  There's always hope! 

Gene Simmons of KISS, and his girlfriend of 28 years, Shannon Tweed, married on Saturday. 

Just as the proposal was shown on the couple's reality show, the wedding footage will appear on A&E later this month.

The nuptuals took place at a Beverly Hills hotel, in front of 400 guests, according to People magazine.  Among the notable names were Simmons’ bandmates in KISS – including Paul Stanley, who was in the wedding party – Bill Maher and Hugh Hefner.  The couple's 22-year-old son and 19-year-old daughter attended the wedding too.
