City of Tyler’s Annual Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter Dances Planned For 2017

The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department has an unforgettable evening planned for families right before Valentine's Day with the annual Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter dances! The dances this year will be held at the Glass Recreation Center and will have a limited number of tickets available for each dance.

The 8th annual Mother/Son dance will be Friday, February 3rd from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Moms are encouraged to dance and create some special memories with their sons aging three to twelve.

The 11th annual Daddy/Daughter dances will be Saturday, February 4th and will be broken up in to two different age groups. Dads with daughters aged three to eight can dance from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and dads with daughters aged nine to twelve will dance from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets to each dance are $9 in advance for each person with only 300 tickets available for each dance. In the past dances have sold out, so you'll want to contact the Glass Recreation Center at 903.595.7271 and secure your tickets today! The dances will be held at the Glass Recreation Center located at 501 W. 32nd St. in Tyler.
