Coldplay’s New Album Nears Completion

Coldplay's latest song "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" is from thier forthcoming album which has yet to be completed.  Lead singer Chris Martin called into Ryan Seacrest's show to update us on the status of their 5th album.

Chris said,

In all honesty I think it will be finished in about two weeks time. I really hope so, we’ve worked a long time. All I know is that we have tried as hard as we can on this one.”

He goes on to talk about how hard it is to finish the album and jokes with Ryan,

it’s like trying to get to the final of “American Idol,” and you know how hard that is.”
