Corner Bakery Cafe in Longview Celebrates Anniversary

Birthdays and anniversaries are usually celebrated by gifts and parties but in this case, this anniversary is celebrated by giving back to the community. Corner Bakery Cafe in Longview will be celebrating their first anniversary at their location on N. Eastman Rd. (Hwy 259 North) in Longview with a give back day on Tuesday, May 13th.

Corner Bakery Cafe will be giving 10% of the day's proceeds to the Junior League of Longview which will go toward scholarship funds for students. Robert Owens, owner, says,

During our anniversary celebration, we’re excited to raise funds for the Junior League of Longview by donating 10% of our sales to this very worthy organization that provides help and hope for so many of our neighbors. We strive to keep our fundraising dollars local and support our community that supports us.”

The restaurant is doing something else special for their patrons on Tuesday during the celebration too; it wouldn't be a celebration without cake! Corner Bakery Cafe in Longview will be giving away a free Baby Bundt Cake with each lunch or dinner purchase.
