For us, Star Wars: Episode VIII is still a long way away. For Daisy Ridley, the movie’s already over.

Ridley, beloved torchbearer and lightsaber wielder of the new Star Wars generation, announced that she was wrapped on Rian Johnson’s still un-subtitled sequel to Star Wars: The Force Awakens with an Instagram post featuring a cool photo of Rey in action:

And that is a wrap on Star Wars Episode VIII. My heart is brimming. #reyout

How great would it be to be able to end conversations with “Rey out!”? That’s got to be the best part of being a Star Wars character. “Hey Daisy, do you want to do one more interview before dinner?” “No. Rey out.” That’s better than “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.”

We still don’t much more about Episode VIII beyond what you can glean from The Force Awakens; more Rey, more Finn, more Kylo Ren, and definitely lots more Luke Skywalker, who was little more than a MacGuffin in Episode VII but should move much more front and center in this sequel about Rey’s quest to discover her origins and harness the power of the Force. The good news is that this weekend is Star Wars Celebration Europe, and we should get at least some new details about the movie; maybe even the official unveiling of the episode subtitle? Star Wars: Episode VIII opens in theaters on December 15, 2017.
