Dancing Is Difficult, the Tragedy Of First Position [VIDEO]

Did you take dance, or have have a little one that participates in a dance program? If so, you ought to be able to relate to this video of a small child attempting first position while in ballet class.

One of my dearest friends posted it on Facebook today and offered her sincerest apologies for convincing me to attend the Kilgore College Rangerette Mini Camp with her back in 1997. While I was clearly not the standout in the class, I did learn a lot about how to deal with new challenges and pressure to perform. I was also impressed with the seminar that was held on proper ladylike behavior.

I have never been a talented dancer. In fact, somewhere buried at my parent's house there is a similar video of me at age three participating in a dance recital. I was full of enthusiasm and joy, but lacked skill and execution.
