The dramatic eighteenth season of 'Dancing With the Stars' came to an end tonight when dance partners Meryl Davis and Maks Chmerkovskiy won first place.

Meryl and Maks have made a name for themselves not only for being incredible dancers, but also for having incredible chemistry between them. The pair had one last chance to prove their charm in the 24-hour fusion challenge — each of the three finalists had only 24 hours to master a dance number before performing it on the live finale.

Meryl and Maks danced a foxtrot and cha-cha fusion to the tune of Nikki Williams' 'Glowing.' The Olympic figure skater looked stunning in a long, flowing purple dress, and wowed audiences when the skirt was ripped off to reveal a sexy fringed leotard. The two dancers earned themselves a perfect score from the judges — and an overall win of the season, beating out the two other finalist couples, Amy Purdy and Derek Hough, and Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas.

What do you think, PopCrushers? Were you rooting for Meryl and Maks?
