Demi Lovato showed any of those non believers out there just what a superstar artist and performer she is over the weekend when she served as one of the many headliners at the 2012 Florida Strawberry Festival.

Lovato took the stage to a mixture of high-pitched screams and others chanting “Demi!” as she opened her set up with ‘Unbroken.’ The fans were so excited about seeing the former Disney-turned-pop superstar on the famed stage of the annual festival that draws fans from all over the world.

For Lovato, performing at the festival was just as special to her as it was for her fans. Between songs, Lovato took a moment to catch her breath as she let the crowd know just how meaningful their love and support has been in her own personal life through her recent struggles.

“Over the past year, year and a half now, I kind of have been going through a lot,” she softly told the crowd as they listened. “The best thing about my fans is no matter what I’ve been through, you guys have always stuck by me. The thing is, I’ve been through a lot of things that you guys have been through. I get my strength from you guys. You guys are my inspiration. So to anyone struggling tonight with issues in their own life, no matter what it is, I just want you to forget about them. Just have fun tonight, and just know that no matter what it is, you can get through it.”

Throughout her performance, Lovato also treated the fans in attendance to some of her other hit songs, including ‘Skyscraper,’ ‘Remember December,’ ‘Catch Me‘ and ‘Give Your Heart a Break.’ Check out some of those performances captured on video below.

Others scheduled to perform at the 2012 Florida Strawberry Festival in the coming week will include TobyMac, Allstar Weekend, as well as a slue of country stars such as the Band Perry, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and more. Click here for a complete list of the festival’s lineup.
