Downtown Tyler Turned Pink once again yesterday as the Tyler Firefighters invited the community to come out and support women with cancer.

The 6th Annual Turn Tyler Pink was well attended with visitors excited to see the unveiling of the newly pink vintage fire truck donated by the Greenburg family.

Tyler Independent School District has been great partners of the event from the first year, and once again showed up in support. The Boulter Middle School Cheerleaders put on a series of cheers to pump up the crowd, and were awarded the traveling trophy for the most creative wearing of pink in 2015. Bonner Elementary was awarded for the most students wearing pink, and many students helped paint the giant canvas tarps which hid the vintage truck on the square.
