East Texans Generously Support Kidd’s Kids During Kidd’s Kids Day 2017

This past Tuesday (October 17th), Mix 93-1 along with The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show took some time out of the day to raise money for the annual Kidd's Kids trip to Disney World in Florida and generous East Texans respond!

The day was dedicated to raise money to send 50 families on a trip to Walt Disney World next month. This trip is completely paid for by the generosity of KiddNation. While on the trip the families will not have to pay for transportation, airfare, meals, lodging, park passes, souvenirs and more - it's all covered thanks to your support of Kidd's Kids.

The Mix 93-1 staff was scattered throughout East Texas set up 'drive thru' style collecting donations from 6a - 9a at Tyler and Longview Chick-fil-A locations from 6a - 9a and then from 10a - 1p, Mix 93-1 was at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers accepting donations.

At the end of the day, Mix listeners donated $4216.00 to Kidd's Kids at our six drop off locations.

This is a fantastic total but it doesn't reflect the true total because hundreds of you went to eat at Raising Cane's where they were donating 15% of their total sales to Kidd's Kids!

After totaling up all the donations from called in donations, texting, online donations, on-site locations and other fund raising initiatives, The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show revealed this morning (Thursday 19th) that the total amount raised this year during Kidd's Kids day surpassed $212,000!

I am very proud to be an East Texan and thank you to each one of you who donated literally a penny to hundreds of dollars, every cent counts and makes a difference!
