East Texans Give Generously to Support Kidd’s Kids

When the call is put out on Mix 93-1 to help children, East Texans respond!

This past Wednesday Mix 93-1 and the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show hosted Kidd's Kids Day 2015. The day was dedicated to raising money to send 50 families on a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida next month.

This year, four of the 50families selected are from East Texas. With that being said, East Texans called in pledges to the phone bank Wednesday morning, sent a text to donate money to help send these kids with a chronic or terminal illness to Walt Disney World and yet others dropped off a one time donation at one of the many drop off locations that Mix 93-1 had set up throughout East Texas.

The staff of Mix 93-1 started off early at 6 a.m. with the cast of The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show at select DQ locations in Tyler and Whataburger locations in Longview and went right on through the lunch hour at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers collecting donations.

Thanks to your support of Kidd's Kids, Mix 93-1 will be handing over $3,873.39 so that 50very deserving families can enjoy the trip of a lifetime so that memories can be created that will last a lifetime.
