East Texans Step Up to Support East Texas Children + Children’s Miracle Network
For the past two days, Mix 93-1 listeners have stepped up to support the pediatric services at Mother Frances Hospital. The 15th annual Mix With Kids Children’s Miracle Network radiothon kicked off at 6 a.m. Thursday and wrapped up at 6 p.m. on Friday. After taking hundreds of phone calls into the pledge center, East Texas collectively pledged more than $20,137 to support pediatric services throughout the Trinity Mother Frances Health System.
The phones were even still ringing when the radiothon ended at 6 p.m. Friday.
Thank you, East Texas! Every single dollar will be used to purchase valuable health care equipment for our children at Mother Frances Hospital and clinics throughout East Texas. Those funds will help the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the special needs clinic, children’s center, mother unit, ambulance services, emergency room services and more.
Mix 93-1 would also like to thank our special sponsors for this years event:
Mix 93-1 would also like to thank the many miracle families who have allowed us to share their stories throughout the radiothon and thank those who came in to the studio to share their stories personally. We would also like to thank the many volunteers who donated their time to answer the phones and take the pledges that were called in to the pledge center.
Thanks again, East Texas, for your support of the Mix 93-1 Mix with Kids Children’s Miracle Network radiothon.
You can still support CMN at Mother Frances Hospital by making a secure pledge online at anytime.
