Winter isn't expected to arrive until a few more weeks, but thanks to the nationwide record setting cold front that moved through East Texas last Thursday night, many local Christmas parades have been rescheduled because of the extreme cold weather that moved into East Texas.

Here's a run down of the rescheduled parades:

Alto has rescheduled for tonight (Monday, December 9th) at 6pm

Henderson Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for tonight (Monday, December 9th) at 6 pm

Tyler Jaycees Christmas parade postponed until Tuesday night (December 10th) @ 6p with city tree lighting to follow

Jacksonville Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for December 12th (Thursday) at 6 pm

Pittsburg has rescheduled to Thursday, December 12th

Winnsboro's "Symbols of Christmas" parade is rescheduled for Thursday at 6pm

Quitman Christmas parade is now scheduled for Saturday, December 14 at 4 pm

Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade has been rescheduled for Saturday at 6 pm

Palestine will reschedule their Christmas parade for Saturday, December 14th at 7pm

 

These East Texas Christmas parades will go on as scheduled:

Hallsville Tuesday (December 10th) at 6:30 pm

Troup will hold their annual Christmas parade on Thursday (December 12th) at 6pm
