Easter is coming up next weekend (April 16th) and there are many opportunities around East Texas to take part in special events and Easter egg hunts this weekend and next weekend too! Kids from all over will be looking out for those eggs lying around on the ground and hiding in special places to find out what they contain! Some eggs contain special messages, others contain candy while others contain money and other special goodies! With Easter coming up next Sunday, there are many activities around East Texas planned for this weekend and next weekend. Here are a few of them:


Tyler Junior College is hosting Eggstravaganza on the TJC campus Tuesday, April 11th beginning at 5:30 p.m. in front of Jenkins Hall. Kids will be able to participate in an egg hunt and snack on cotton candy and other foods and play in the bounce houses!


Tyler Twilight Easter Egg Hunt will be Thursday, April 13th at Lindsey Park in Tyler beginning at 6:15 p.m. Get complete details here.


'Easter Egg Express' along the tracks of the Texas State Railroad. Special trains will take kids on a train ride to hunt eggs at a special stop along the tracks! Get all the details here.
