East Texas Tennis Tournament Helping Expecting Mom’s

Fifteen years ago, Dr. Charles Heaton of Heaton Eye Associates in Tyler made the decision to combine his passion for tennis and helping those in need by founding the Hope Open Tennis Tournament.

Proceeds from the 2011 Hope Open Tennis Tournament benefits Living Alternatives, a local non-profit charity who offer Hope and practical assistance to young women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Tennis enthusiasts from across Texas take part in the tournaments highly competitive adult and junior levels events. This well-run tournament has all the perks that tournaments provide: great food, family activities throughout the weekend, fun games and competitive tennis all-in-one tournament.

I have it on good authority that Bailey Kaytar and Katie Francis plan to take home the 16 Girls Doubles trophies. Best of luck to all the participants. This year the deadline for registration has been extended to March 20th.
