East Texas Women Compete for Miss Texas USA This Weekend

Brittany Bolin of Tyler and Jennifer Spillman of Palestine will be spending Labor Day weekend on stage, competing along with 113 other Texas women in the Miss Texas USA Pageant in Houston.

It's a long road for most of the contestants, who have to be accepted before they can even register, and then must raise the money needed for the registration fee. This weekend they'll have a chance to win scholarship money that might help them continue their educations. Good luck gals!

If you’d like to watch the Miss Texas USA pageant and cheer on Brittany and Jennifer this weekend, you might have to gather your friends together and pool some money. It will be live on pageantvision.com starting Saturday at 7:30pm and again Sunday at 3pm, but there’s a $12 viewing fee.

The winner of the Miss Texas USA pageant will compete for the Miss USA title on June 3 in Las Vegas.
