Join the City of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department for the eighth annual Holiday in the Park and Bazaar on December 13 and 14 at Bergfeld Park. Bundle up and enjoy fun events for the whole family like a 'tubing hill', a snow play area, shopping, entertainment, a kid's zone featuring pony rides, a bunjee jump, rock wall, and 85,000 pounds of snow!

The event begins 4-8 p.m. Friday with 'Snow Play' and the Kids Zone, and will continue with the Bazaar on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. with more than 50 vendors. The 'Snow Play' and Kids Zone will open at 11 a.m. and last till 7 p.m.

Parents can take advantage of photo opportunities with Santa from 3:45-5:30 p.m. and don't miss the unusual arrival of Santa Scirto around 3:45 p.m.

You are also invited to bring gifts for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree for both children and senior adults. A drop off staion will be located near the snow hill area.

“This is a wonderful and fun family event for the City of Tyler,” said Debbie Isham, special
events/recreation manager. “It is a chance for everyone in the community to come out and enjoy the park, the snow, the local entertainment and greet neighbors before the holiday.”

Bergfeld Park is located at Broadway and Fourth Street in Tyler, Texas. The snow play, movie and entertainment are free of charge. Concessions and Kid Zone will be available for a fee.
